Demolition activities concluded at the Raw Sugar Warehouse and Sorting, grading, and cleaning activities are ongoing at the Raw Sugar Warehouse.The structural steel frame along the East River remains to be used for the construction of an elevated public park. Sorting, grading, and cleaning activities are continuing at the site. Mechanical demolition of the Boiler House is ongoing. An excavator with a long-reach attachment demolishes the building from the north side. Hand demolition is ongoing at Building 16. All of the non-structural steel has been removed from the building. Workers aided by a man-lift are breaking brick away from the exterior at the top of the building. A geotechnical investigation is underway at Site E.
