DOMINO CONSTRUCTION UPDATE: Week of October 30th, 2017 and November 6th, 2017

Construction of the Domino Park is ongoing, including earthwork, utility work, and concrete. Construction of CMU planter walls is complete and the western perimeter wall is complete. Electrical, Mechanical and plumbing work is ongoing. The elevated walk steel is complete and painting of the artifacts is nearly complete. Pavers and precast planks have been delivered to site and are being installed. Finishes including light fixtures, handrails and millwork has begun. Construction of the new road is underway. Work is progressing from the north to the southern end of the site.

The public park located on Site C is open 6 days a week.

At Site E, All MEP trades are doing roughing and final installation. Installation of exterior cladding is nearly complete & interior framing and MEP work is ongoing. Exterior walls are mostly complete with the remaining being clad and waterproofed using the mast climber’s at the north side of the building. Mechanical rooms are mostly completed and apartment fit out is ongoing. Final inspections throughout the building are completed for the South tower. Inspections for future TCOs are to be scheduled. The sidewalk on Kent Avenue is open to the public.

At Site A  Excavation, SOE, pile driving and dewatering work has begun. Excavation and trucking of soil is continuing daily and production piles along with tie back installation has begun. Foundation footings have been poured.
